Driving licence medical certificate – online (digital medical certificate)

At Skandiva Intyg, you can get your driving licence medical certificate through a video call – a convenient option if you cannot visit our clinic in Tranemo. The examination is carried out by a licensed doctor, and the certificate is sent directly to the Swedish Transport Agency (Transportstyrelsen).

Please note that a vision test is not included in the online appointment. You therefore need a valid vision certificate from an optician or ophthalmologist before the certificate can be issued.

How does it work?

1. Book an appointment by phone or via our online booking

2. Arrange a vision certificate at an optician or ophthalmologist

3. Video call with doctor – medical assessment is conducted and the certificate is sent electronically to Transportstyrelsen if all requirements are met

What do you need before your appointment?

✓ Valid ID (passport, national ID card, or driving licence)

✓ Vision certificate from optician or ophthalmologist (mandatory)

✓ List of current medications

✓ Any medical records for chronic conditions

Is the online service suitable for me?

Online is suitable if you:

✓ need a driving licence medical certificate for C, CE, D or DE

✓ are applying for or renewing a taxi driver licence (taxiförarlegitimation)

✓ are renewing higher licence classes (age 45+)

✓ do not have complex medical conditions

✓ can arrange a separate vision certificate
