Driving Licence Medical Certificates in Tranemo

At Skandiva Intyg, licensed doctors issue driving licence medical certificates for all classes – B, C, CE, D, DE – and for taxi driver licence (taxiförarlegitimation).

The certificate is required for first-time applications for higher classes (C, CE, D, DE) and the taxi driver licence, as well as for renewals. From age 45, the certificate is typically renewed every five years.

When is a specialist assessment required?

For certain chronic or more complex conditions, Transportstyrelsen requires the certificate to be issued by a specialist.

This may apply to e.g. vision problems, cardiovascular disease, neurological or psychiatric conditions, diabetes, and substance dependency.
